Description
The botanical name of Shallaki is Boswellia serrata. This is a very famous ayurvedic herb and is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis and muscular pains. Shallaki is widely used as a substitute for modern pain killer and may also be used in the treatment of cancer.
The bark and gum are used as medicine.
Shallaki is mainly indicated in –
- Diarrohea, dysentery
- Bleeding disorders such as nasal disorders, heavy periods etc.
- Ulcers, wounds
- For skin diseases
- Blood disorders
- Hemorrhoid’s
- Cleanses wound
