Description
Triphala is combination of three fruits as the name indicates – these three fruits taken together have a synergistic action and the combination – Triphala is useful in a variety of ailments.
Triphala contains – Amla (Indian Gooseberry) – Emblica Officinalis dried fruit pulp powder, Bibhitaki – Terminalia Bellirica dried fruit pulp powder and Haritaki – Terminalia Chebula dried fruit pulp powder in equal proportions. But the proportion may vary according to the need and body type as defined in Ayurveda.
Triphala is used for the following –
- Constipation
- Immunity
- Weight loss
- For eye sight
- For general weakness etc.
